I HAD A GREAT BIRTHDAY WEEKEND!

Saturday was my birthday and also the 8th month anniversary of the day Lori and I met. Lori and I celebrated both of them all weekend. Since it was my birthday, that kind of took priority over our anniversary, so Lori said we could do ANYTHING, and I do mean ANYTHING, I wanted to do for my birthday weekend.

When she said that, my mind immediately went into the gutter, so to speak. Well, not exactly the gutter, but to my slowly dwindling list of fantasies. Lori told me that she already had my list on her agenda, and to think of what else I wanted to do, like where I wanted to go to dinner. I tried to find out what she had on the agenda, but she was closed mouth and wouldn’t tell me anything. She wanted things to be a surprise. Let me tell you, my mind did some serious wandering the last week before the weekend.

Friday evening we went out to my favorite Italian restaurant for dinner. We had a nice dinner and a carafe of wine. When we got home, we watched a movie or two and snuggled twice before falling asleep in each other’s arms like we always do. We both like to hold each other when we sleep. That’s another one of the many reasons we are so good for each other.

Saturday morning we woke up a bit earlier than we wanted to, but that was okay, it just meant we had more time for snuggling before we got started on the day. No details, but let me just say it was some of the best snuggling we’ve ever had. I told Lori it was a great start on my birthday presents and she told she felt like it was her birthday, not mine.

Lori got up after catching her breath and made breakfast while I stayed in bed. She brought me breakfast in bed. We watched a little TV and checked out my blog and read your nice comments. Thanks again y’all!

By the time we got out of bed, it was early afternoon, so Lori started on my birthday cake, a cheesecake. I know that’s not a normal type of birthday cake, but I’m not too fond of sweets, so I don’t normally even eat regular cake. I like cheesecake and since Lori wanted me to have ANYTHING I wanted on my birthday weekend, she made me her special recipe cheesecake.

I helped a little by pressing the graham cracker crumbs into the spring form pan for the crust while Lori mixed the filling. We tasted the batter and it was excellent! I couldn’t wait to taste the finished product.

Lori poured the batter into the pan, put the pan in the properly preheated oven and then I set the timer for the required cooking time. Then I went into the den to check my email and Lori went into the shower.

In a little while, I went into the kitchen to check on the cheesecake. From the taste of the batter, it was going to be a really good birthday cake, but from the looks of it now, it wasn’t turning out that great. I called Lori into the kitchen. She looked in the oven, mumbled something and asked me how much time was left on the timer. I looked at the timer and saw that I had forgotten to turn it on.

FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! I really fucked this one up!

I had no idea how long it had been in the oven. Needless to say, it was overcooked, which was totally my fault. I was so disappointed in myself. Lori has been making that recipe for at least 25 years and it always came out perfect. Then the first time she makes it for me, I fuck up and ruin it for her. She tried to blame the pan and make it her fault somehow, but I know I screwed up and it was overcooked.

Lori promised to make it for me again, but next time I’m going to let her keep track of the time. I don’t want to risk ruining it again and then her never making it for me.

The rest of the day went well until after dinner. That evening Lori took me out to dinner for my birthday at a restaurant I’ve had a craving to go to, The Good Steer. I had a burger combo that I haven’t had for at least 10 years. I used to go to The Good Steer all the time when I lived in the area, but it’s just too far to make burgers and onion rings worth the trip anymore.

I enjoyed the dinner, but it didn’t sit well with me. On the way home my gut started gurgling and I hit the bathroom pretty quickly after we got home. I don’t think my gut was ready for such a heavy, greasy meal. You see, Brian and I got food poisoning about a week ago or so and I guess I wasn’t completely over it.

This ruined Lori’s plans for some “Special Fantasy List Snuggling” for my birthday that night. What made it worse, was Brian and his girlfriend rented a hotel room for the night and that left the house all too Lori and me. (Saturday was the one-year anniversary of them dating, so they had a special night planned too.)

All was not lost though. I took some meds to control the, uh, uh, you know what, and I was better by the morning.

Sunday morning we more than made up for my being out of commission the night before. Or should I say, Lori made up for it. Since I am quite shy and modest believe that and I have a bridge to sell you, I can’t tell you exactly what item Lori and I crossed off of my “Special Fantasy Snuggling List”, but I’ll give you a hint. The only fantasy I have left, is a threesome with another woman. Lori has fulfilled every other one.

Any volunteers?

PS
I don’t really ever expect a threesome to happen, but aren’t that what fantasies all about.

PSS
Just because I don’t really expect a threesome to ever happen, doesn’t mean we aren’t taking applications. So send your application to me via email and I will forward it to Lori for her evaluation. This fantasy is totally up to her too.
