The National Do Not Call Registry gives you a choice about whether to receive telemarketing calls at home. Most telemarketers should not call your number once it has been on the registry for 31 days. If they do, you can file a complaint at this Website. You can register your home or mobile phone for free. Your registration will be effective for five years.

I have signed up every number thats linked to me. I hate when I finally get to sit down and relax cause I just put little man down and some damn Telemarker calls to tell me they have a special this week only on all my carpets,drapes,and furniture. Excuse me? Dont you think I can clean my own? And of course the phone always wakes him up. I have finally started shutting off ringer on most of the phones and putting one phone on lowest ring possible. But it stinks if I want a nap too and thee goes the dang phone!
