UPDATE ON KEYBOARD FIASICO

LET IT BE KNOWN THAT WHEN YOU SPILL GIN AND TONIC ON YOUR KEYBOARD, THAT WASHING IT OFF WITH CLEAN WATER AND LETTING IT DRY, DOES SHIT TO GET IT TO WORK CORRECTLY AGAIN.

NEXT ATTEMPT AT SALVAGING THE KEYBOARD IS SOAKING IT IN A SINK FULL OF CLEAN WATER FOR A WHILE AND LETTING IT DRY.

UPDATE TO FOLLOW.

(Man, is this keyboard fucked up!)

:) I'd be so happy to trade problems with you today.

By the way, you really should not put your keyboard in water.

Hey, not a bad idea. I'll try that if the dish washer doesn't work.

Tony!!!! That was funny. :)

Well.... last time I happen to mess my water all over my keyboard I pretended to be very blonde and told Furzl it just STOPPED working. LOL

Okay... Furzl being a techie and all didn't believe me for very long.....

Perhaps a nice trip to the store (we call 'em shops) will sort out this problem?

lmao....my solution is:

1 - take trip to store
2 - buy new keyboard and more gin

Eek. I think the best bet is a new keyboard. Fodge fried ours with beer, once.

LOL... You can hang it on on the clothes line over night and see if sun drying it helps. *wink* :-)

yeah, don't for a second think about plugging that thing back in to your computer. keyboard's aren't expensive, even for retiree's. :)

Hey Tony, after fathers day I will have a spare keyboard when I retrieve my keyboard from my sisters...

Personally I like the washer/drier idea but be sure to use the delicate cycle.

what a waste of Gin and Tonic!

;)

Try the dishwasher... if it can remove Gin and Tonic out of a glass then...
just sayin'

yeah, have fun with that and next time- sippycup at the puter? hehe

I think you need one of those beer hats. YOu know, the ones with those really long straws.

One time I spilled egg drop soup all over a brand new keyboard. I rinsed it out in the kitchen sink, shook it really hard to get the water and left it upside down on the kitchen counter until it dried. It works perfectly. The end.
