I will be flying in from New York to attend the party and to visit my mother and sister who both live in Dearborn. This will be my second stop on the 2006 BTExpress Blog Tour and would really like to see you there.
PS
If your wondering why I say WE are having a party, I was declared Honorary Mayor of Detroit years ago and am still legally a citizen of Detroit. Besides, Roximoon said I could come. ;-)

Have fun in Detroit Tony and drink one for me
Too far for me to travel right now, but have some fun on my behalf! Mayor of Detroit, huh? Sounds impressive.
what was the first stop on the BTExpress Tour? Where was it and how the hell did I miss it!?
Libby - I swear I'm not him so don't worry.
Marge - I'll be having a drink for every blogger I know, especially for you. The party is being held over two days!!!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!
No One - Not as impressive as it sounds. My mother lived in Detroit at the time. I visited her after I got back from Vietnam and out of the hospital for about a month. While I was there she contacted the mayor's office about me. They gave me a bunch of stuff, one of which was a declaration declaring me Honorary Mayor of Detroit. I thought it was pretty cool, and still do.
Sis B - I haven't made the stop yet, so you didn't miss anything. My first stop on the tour is close by, New York City on the weekend of March 11th. I'll be meeting two of the hottest bloggers I know, Aughra and Foxglove, in Greenwich Village for the day. I am so excited. I definitely will be in your neighborhood this summer after Arlene moves down there, so expect me.
Wow, Mayor of Detroit. I once spent a few minutes talking to Colemen Young back in his days as mayor. Well I was mostly listening. We were both in a telivision studio on election night (I was part of the company providing the station with exit polls). It will be fun to meet another mayor, even if it is only honorary. I look forward to meeting you.
