How was your weekend?

Ours was good. But before I get to that, I have something to tell you about.

I just got a new add-on for Firefox that I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! It called Mouse Gestures. I don't have any idea all of the things it can do, but I do know that I can open a link in a new tab by holding down the right button on my mouse and moving the mouse up quickly. Then when I release the button, the link opens in a new tab. It sure makes opening those porn links on the web site home page a breeze. No more right click and then clicking the open link in new tab. Just hold down the button and move the mouse up. Did I tell you I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it?

We had a good weekend. Friday I took Lori for crab legs. They are her new favorite thing to eat. No, make that second favorite. Use your imagination and you'll figure out what's her first favorite thing. ;-) Hint: She had that after we got home. Hehehehe....... After dinner we stopped by the VFW hall for a drink. $2.00 drinks rule!

Saturday we went up to the local apple festival. We were going to help out at the booth the VFW sets up, but they had enough help. They sell hot dogs, soda and pop corn as a way to raise money. So we decided to walk around and buy a few goodies. I made three-bean chili for dinner. I used buffalo chopped meat of course. There's so little fat in the meat, that when you brown it, there's nothing to pour off. TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT, I promise! I also made some steamed corn on the cob. I used Birds Eye Steam Fresh. I highly recommend any of the Steam Fresh veggies. Almost as good as fresh if you don't over cook it. Use the minimum time on the bag. TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT, I promise that too.

Sunday we just sat around in bed naked with our laptops until about 2:00. Of course we snuggled first. I can't start my day when Lori's around, or end it for that matter, without a good snuggle. My son only works until 2:00 on Sundays, so we had to get all shit, showered and shaved before he got home at 3:00. Bastard didn't get home until 10:00 pm! He went to Cheryl's and then to some friend's place. If I knew that, we could have had an entire day with the Nudest Rules in effect. I cooked stuffed salmon with vegetable rice for dinner. I bought stuffed salmon from the Stop & Shop and sprinkled Emeral's fish rub on it. I also made brown rice in vegetable broth with marjoram, dried basil and ground cumin and then added steamed vegetables to it. Only one word for it, YUMMY! We ate popcorn for desert later while we were watching TV.

All in all, a very nice weekend with my baby. :-D

Sounds like a much better weekend than mine.

I hope you're using king crab, nothing else compares.

Maybe someday I'll join the VFW, if nothing else for the $2 drinks! Do you see any of the new young vets there yet?

Tug - Nope, snow crab. Cheaper and easier to get to the meat.

Most of the VFW members in this post are Vietnam vets or older. There are a few young guys in this post that have been to Iraq and Afghanistan. One guy went back to Iraq right after I joined and will be there for a full tour. Another guy just got back after spending three months there.

Sandi - Lori told me she's lucky I can cook. I learned to cook when Barbara became ill and really enjoy it. I hate doing laundry and she likes folding it. So it's a win-win for us both.

Lady Roxi - Sure, but what's in it for me? ;-)
