No chafing to report!
The weekend was long and mostly boring all alone. Except for a visit from Hanna Saturday night. She huffed and she puffed, but couldn't blow my house down, nor even a tree limb. She did drop a lot of water, which filled my pool, but I'll take that over having my house blown down any day.
Sunday morning Brian got home from Atlantic City at 10:30 AM! WTF? It's at least a three hour ride on a good day and it was a shock to see him so early. It seems him and his two friends he was staying with choose to stay the extra night and drive home in the morning. One guy is a BMX racer and had to be here for a race at 1:00. Of course they stayed up all night and slept all day everyday, so instead of going back to the room, they just drove home.
This weekend I was occupied for a couple of evenings chatting on line with a new friend of mine. She's going through a rough time right now after loosing her husband suddenly a few weeks ago and reached out to me support and advice. She has been reading my blog forever, but never posts on her blog and usually doesn't comment on mine, so I really didn't know her. She only knows me through my blog, but that was enough for her, so she took a chance and contacted me. I'm glad she did and very flattered that she trusts me, a relative perfect stranger. But we aren't strangers any longer. :-)
