Been busy so haven't posted very much.
Yesterday was Lori and my second anniversary. I took her to a nice restaurant for dinner. The kind where the waiter makes the salad dressing for the Caesar salad at the table. We each had a broiled seafood platter which was to die for. The we came back her to my place for a night of debauchery. All in all, a great night! This weekend I'm taking her to a hotel for the weekend for more debauchery. Ain't I a great boyfriend? :-)
I got the writing bug again and have been working on the stories about my army days. I'm saving them for that book you encouraged me to write. I read that the average book is 100,000 words and I'm up to 34,249, so I have a ways to go. I also don't have a clue how to try and get a book published, so that may never happen. At least my son will have the story about that part of his old man's life to remember me by.
I've also started going through 31 years worth crap, I mean treasures in my basement. Today I found box of green dishes Barbara had in her first place after college in 1971-72. They are wrapped in newspaper dated, get this, June 25, 1972, the month before we were married. I found some other white glass wear wrapped in newspaper from 1977, the year we moved into this house. We wrapped it up when we moved here and never unwrapped it. Been in the basement ever since.
Now let me figure out something for HNT. I haven't a clue what it will be, but it will be something.
