Helicopter rides are fun! I've been to the Grand Canyon a few times myself. It's always a great view and always good for setting me into thought about things. :)
My first helicopter ride was in Vietnam. I loved the seat behind the pilot. I got to sit on the floor with my feet hanging out the door. What a view! Thing is, I was first off and last on, which wasn't a good thing when people were shooting at you. I did like the view while flying.
I have never aspired to visit the Grand Canyon but my SIL said it is awesome and now you give it a big thumbs up too. Perhaps i'll reconsider! Glad you had fun and that's a great pic of you two!
The fourth day of our last trip to Las Vegas we took a helicopter to the Grand Canyon.

My first helicopter ride was in Korea! This looks like a fabulous time, and a bit more comfortable than the Chinook I flew in!
i stood on the north rim but i would so love to go back and really explore. great shot!

Did you do that walk thing over open space? It wasn't there the last time I visited. I don't know if I could do it.
