Un-Happy Anniversary

Yesterday was the 40th Re-Birthday of the day I was discharged from the US Army and today is the 40th Un-Happy Anniversary of the day I was drafted into the army. I guess I shouldn't complain too much. I was wounded and almost died in Vietnam, but through a series of events after that, I've lead a great life all because of being wounded and serving those two years for Uncle Sam. Yep, I've been a very lucky guy in so many ways.

I think it's amazing that you survived and I am proud that I got to meet you.

Tony, I want to thank you for all that you did for everyone in the country. Not a day goes by that I don't stop to think about all the you and others like you have sacrificed so that I can live my life the way I chose. :)

the best part is you know how lucky you've been and are grateful for it.
