I was going through a box of very old photos I found while cleaning out my mother's apartment. I came across many that I've never seen, and some that I remember very well. This one of my father was one of those. I hope you enjoy this rerun HNT from December 9, 2005.

MOTHER OF GOD! I HAVE BECOME MY FATHER!Yesterday I posted a story about my father being Sanda Claus and SGM made a comment that it was too bad I didn'’t have a picture of him dressed as Santa. This sent me on a search for a picture of my father and I found this one him at our wedding.
These is a picture of my father at 51 and me at 50. When I looked at his picture next to mine, I was amazed at how much we looked a like. The most striking thing to me was that our right eye is slightly more closed than our left eye.
I really have become my father, which make me about the happiest person on earth tonight, because he was the BEST! May you rest in peace dad, love you.
