Lori was in the mood for salmon, so on Friday I made a recipe she found, "Fennel-Crusted Salmon on White Beans". Lori said this looked and tasted like a fancy gourmet meal you'd buy in a fancy restaurant.
Saturday she wanted me to make "Inside Out Cheese Burgers". These are stuffed with Cheddar and Gruyeres cheese. I also used buffalo meat instead of regular beef. That's lower in fat and better for you. I've been cooking with buffalo chopped meat for several years and no one has ever been able to tell the difference between that and regular beef chopped meat. So try it if you can find it near you.
Sunday Lori wanted to try catfish ever since I told her it was very tasty and not fishy tasting like the scrod I made a couple of weeks before. I made "Catfish Roasted with Sesame Seeds, Basil, Garlic and Spinach". We also had left over white beans and fennel from the salmon with the catfish I made on Friday.
If you try any, let me know how it was
Have a great weekend and I hope you get lucky. ;-)

I love salmon and that recipe looks yummy - think I will give that a try when I am back on my feet or even better, I could have Mr SD make it for me while I recover.
Ms SD
Yum, yum, yum, yum, YUM! We love to cook too... the four of us are going to have to swap our favorite recipes. ;) Or maybe we'll just have you over for dinner! :) C. makes a mean curry....

Cook? Me? You realize when you cook you have to clean up the dishes, right? I'm a busy woman, man! I got things to do. I only have just enough time for eating.
I hope I get lucky too. I'd probably get well faster. Least that's what Bob tells me. I'm not 100% sure he always tells the truth in that area. According to Bob men have a certain something that cures colds, headaches, makes your hair thicker, and is imperative to weight loss and cures wrinkles.
I dunno. Sounds fishy to me.
The I/O cheeseburgers sound wonderful to me mmm........
Im going to try the inside out hamburgers. YUM.
yup, the i/o cheeseburgers sound great!! i just saw an advertisement for bison meat on tv the other night, and it did look good!
Sounds like a couple good dishes. I cooked my bass over the weekend, too. Emeril's southwest seasoning, butter, minced garlic and "steak dust." I tried to encrust it with peanuts, but I couldn't get them to stick.
