SPILLING GIN AND TONIC IN YOUR KEYBOARD MAKES IT UNUSABLE!
Yes, spilling gin and tonic in your keyboard sure does make the keyboard unusable. So take it from me, keep an old keyboard on hand so you can still use the computer to post fast breaking news stories. I have it from a good source, the culprit will attempt to clean the keyboard and see if it can be salvaged. Details to follow.

wow, that is bad...however...it's better than coca-cola, which has ummm, lots of sugar (sugar=sticky...i found that out..)
My favorite thing to do with keyboards is to drown them. I typically, if I am being good, have a quart sized glass of water next to my keyboard at work and have drown more than one keyboard.
Funny you should mention keyboard. Over the holiday weekend I took my full size computer over my systers and, dah, left the keyboard at her house about 100 miles away. I went out and bought a $10.00 cheapy last night. Keyboards in the news!
I just read the post below. Good lord, man! That was horrific! You have lived through your share of accidents.
P.S. I loved the writing style. Very creative.
Libby - The tonic leaves a sticky mess when oi spill it. I must have sugar then, so I'm not sure I can salvage the poor thing.
Barman - Spillage is pretty common I'm told.
Signgurl - Trouble just always seems to find me some how. Thanks for the compliment, I appreciate it.
Who cares about the keyboard? That was a waste of perfectly good liquor. That would have hurt me more than the keyboard. Help stamp out alcohol abuse. lol
Guy in the Back - I know what you mean. I'd just made it so it was damn near a whole glass full. :-(
Wait, you mean you did not pick up the keyboard and hold it to your mouth and tip it up? Now that is just wrong waisting that perfectly good drink.
No, I poured it out in the sink. Good thing to. The food residue that came out was rather discusting.
do keyboards prefer vodka orhard cider or champagne?
Water for sure. Everything else just seems to scrww them up and they get tossed in the trash.
