RERUN HNT: My 1st Half-Nekkid Thursday - 8/11/05

I wanted to start off with something a little less risque so as not to excite y'all too much.

You too can participate in Half-Nekkid Thursday here.

It's been almost six years since I joined the HNT family. I started off shy, but HNT helped me loose my inhibitions. Boy, did it ever. LOL If you've been following me all these years you'd understand.

My Sexy Pose HNT

My sexy pose in the 'Sixth Armored Calvary Regiment' barracks at Fort Meade Maryland. This was my first assignment since I was in Vietnam in 1968. The beginning of some of the best days of my life.

Happy Sexy Pose HNT!

Ya, I know it's not sexy, but looks gay, so humor me, okay?

Anniversary HNT

Last Friday, March 4th was Lori and mine 5th anniversary of the day we met. I wanted to make it special, so I got the jacuzzi suite in a local hotel for the weekend.

Nothing like a hotel room with a jacuzzi and champagne with the one you love ever so very much. Thanks for stalking me all those months baby. XOXOXOXO

Okay, I didn't actually drink the champagne, because I don't like it, but Lori drank it and I drank my usual gin & tonic. No problem, the end result was the same, I still got lucky. ;-)

HAPPY 5TH ANNIVERSARY HNT BABY!

Hot Tubbin' HNT

Winter, 48F and hot tubbin' go hand in hand.

Yes, Lori is drinking ginger ale, but no, I'm not drinking 7-Up. I needed the big boy glass to hold a 90-minute gin & tonic.

Guess who's going to be in a movie?

That's right, ME!

I'm going to be "featured extra/walk-on" for the independent film, 'Girl Clown'. The film is being made by Crystal Scott in New York City in the spring, so it's just a short wait and a train and subway ride away.

I emailed Crystal Scott, the writer and woman making the film, what she had in mind for me. Here's her reply.

Hi Tony,

I'm so glad you live so nearby and can be in the film!!

Well, the featured extra/walk-on role will be written just for you.
I'm thinking you'd make a GREAT clown..we have a super-fun clown scene, with clowns getting ready for a party. It's my favorite scene in the film. Let me know how you feel about that! If you don't want to be a clown, we'll write you a different role, BUT I think you'd be perfect.

Thanks again, and I hope you have a great Sunday!

Best wishes,
Crystal
Here's a description of what I can expect the day I film.

You will be costumed and made up and spend all day working on the set! Your name will be featured in the credits as an actor, and on IMDB.

I'll be sure to keep you updated about my new adventure as an actor.

Rest in Peace Ma HNT

I lost my step mother passed away after loosing her battle with cancer at the age of 85 years young. In early December Lori and I went to Florida for a vacation and we were fortunate to get together with her. Little did I know that would be the last time I'd see her.

I met Aunt Ruth, my step mother "Ruth Fleming Wilson Chliek" when I was about 10 or 11. Aunt Ruth and her first husband were friends with my mom and dad. They had two boys about the same age as my older brother and me. We all spent a lot of time together, but eventually our parents grew apart and were divorced. My father moved out and I lived with my mother, older brother and younger sister. That is, for a few more years.

A year or so later, my father and Aunt Ruth got married and moved to New York. My step brothers Eddie and Ricky lived with them.

That was 1963, and would have made me about 15 years old. I lived in Jacksonville Florida with my mom and sister. My brother was in the Navy by then. My sister was fine, but I was difficult to control and hanging out with "the wrong crowd". You know, smoking, drinking, beating up people in school, breaking into lockers, cutting classes and threatening teachers if they didn't give us passing grades. You know, all the usual things delinquents did in those days.

It had finally gotten too much for my mom to bare, so with one days notice, I was put on a bus for New York to live with my father and step mother. I arrived at the Port Authority bus terminal in mid town Manhattan with little more than the clothes on my back and a pair of shoes so worn, that the soles flapped as I walked. To say I was poor is an understatement. The $60 a week my mom made didn't go very far. The school hot lunch was my "big" meal of the day.

I was welcomed with opened arms by my dad and step mother. I can't say the same for how I welcomed them into my life. Sure I was happy to be back with my dad, but not so happy to be with someone I always called Aunt Ruth. My father wanted me to call her mom now. No way, I had a mom and Aunt Ruth sure wasn't it and I let her know it. "You're not my mom, I have a mom".

For, I don't know how long, I wouldn't even call her by name, not even Aunt Ruth. To me, she was "her" and "she". One day "she" wanted me to tell my father that "she" wanted him. I went outside and called out to my father, "She wants you!" He replied, "Who wants me?" My answer was, "You know, her." Eventually I comprimsed and called her Ma.

I'm sure it hurt my dad and step mom very much that I was rejecting her, but I really had no idea. I was the one that was hurt. The one that had been rejected by my "real" mother and was suddenly dumped on a bus to who knows where. I was happy where I had been and I didn't want to leave.

You know what? It was the best thing that ever happened to me. God only knows what would have happened to me if I had stayed in Florida. It was 1963 and prejudice was the norm. Race riots weren't uncommon. My friend's older brothers and father's were part of it all. If my mom hadn't shipped my off to New York, I'm sure I would have wound up part of it too. It may have even cost me my life.

It took me many years to figure that out, but thank God I did. I was finally able to forgive my mom and one day thanked her for loving me that much. That she gave me up to give me a chance for a normal life. That she gave me to a woman that would take me in, and treat me as if I was one of her own. To give me a "normal" life.

Thanks "Ma", I wouldn't be where I am today without you.

NOT SO HAPPY HNT.
I MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU MA!

Another Hot Tub HNT

Last week I posted a picture of me in the hotel hot tub watching TV and drinking a gin & tonic. Lori was disappointed that I didn't post one of the more "revealing" pictures she took. I wonder if this is what she had in mind. ;-)

I guess I'll soon find out.

Happy HNT Baby! Remember, I love you!

Lori (who is going to be moving in with me next month) and I ate at the Tilted Kilt for dinner one of the nights we were vacationing in Florida last month. I had corned beef and cabbage and Lori had fish & chips.

At least according to the pictures we did. I was a little distracted to be certain.

Hooters ain't got nothing on the Tilted Kilt!

HAPPY NEW YEAR HNT

Most mornings while we were in Florida on vacation, Lori asked me to make the coffee. It's not like I make it any better than her, but I did as she asked. I found out why when I went through the pictures from the trip.

"The more things change, the more they stay the same."

Pool Party HNT

Saturday, Lori and I hosted a pool party for our blogger friends. I sent out open invitations starting a year ago, but by the time the pool party came around, people that said they would come or at least try to come, sent their regrets. Some even the same day.

Oh well, their loss, because they missed a hell of a good time!

Os was the first to show, but was alone. We expected him to bring ~M, but that morning she woke up in severe pain, which put her in the hospital. She had a kidney stone, which they zapped, so she was able to come home the next day. Missed you ~M!

Os, Lori and I sat in my living room for a while catching up and then I gave him a tour of the recent work I had done inside.

Os surprised us with the 'Official Os Shirt'. Later we all took pictures with the shirt.

Then we went outside to check out the work that I done last year.

I'm pretty sure there was a bit of grill envy.

Everyone loves the waterfall. The sound of the water flowing into the pool is so relaxing.

It was time for some snacks, so we sat at the patio table enjoying the foods Lori had prepared.

A little while later, Os said he had to get something from his car and returned with Summer Shizzle and her pup. What a great surprise.

Even if no one else showed up, this made my day. I've "known" Shizzle for many years via blogs and it was a pleasure to finally get to meet her.

We all chatted some more then had some lunch also prepared by Lori. Everyone agreed that her pulled pork was excellent! Thanks baby, the food was great!

Time for a swim!

EDIT: Here are the new pictures Os sent me this week.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We frolicked in the pool for a while,
then all came out to take pictures with the Os Shirt.
HAPPY POOL PARTY HNT
Be sure to come back next week for "Pool Party HNT part 2".
You won't be sorry!
We had more surprise guests,
ate more great food,
more swimming,
and then the bathing suits came off!
"Pool Party HNT part 2"
If you missed the 'Pool Party HNT, part one' post last week, click here. I added a lot more photos that were taken by Os, but just received this week.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

After the Os shirt photo shoot, we decided to have dinner. I was standing at the grill cooking chicken wings when I saw two people I didn't recognize walk up the stairs to the patio. Surprise, surprise, it was Hubman and Veronica!

Hubman has been in Texas training for the last month, but decided to surprise his family by flying up for his son's birthday party. After the birthday party, they came over for the party.

After dinner, Hubman and Veronica took pictures with the Os shirt too.

Then more swimming, but this time not everyone wore a suit, right Lori?

Hubman and Veronica left after a couple of hours to get reacquainted after his month of training in Texas. "It was great to finally meet you guys. Next time your back on Long island give me a call."

Os and I were talking when Summer Shizzle cannon balled into the pool. That's when we noticed that her bathing suit was the next to come off.

Os and my suits were off in the blink of an eye. May the skinny dipping begin!

The night flew by and just before almost midnight it was time to break up the party. Shizzle still had what turned out to be a 4 1/2 hour drive home ahead of her or I'm sure the party would have lasted a lot longer.

Shizzle, you have no idea how happy I was that you took the drive to join in the fun. Thank you and it was a pleasure to meet you.

HAPPY POOL PARTY HNT

SEE Y'ALL NEXT YEAR!
