Sports HNT

In the mid-60s I lived with my mom, big brother and little sister in Jacksonville, Florida. My mom couldn't deal with me any longer, so she put me on a Greyhound bus for New York to live with my father and step mother. Maybe he would be able to straighten me out.

My father was an avid sports fan of the New York Giants, Mets, Rangers and Knicks, but especially the Giants. Of course I became a fan of those teams too. If you follow sports, you know that being a fan of those teams is lets say, disappointing A LOT! These New York teams seem to disappoint us at every turn.

The Giants season started off last weekend in typical Giant fashion. They scored 35 points, which is great, but they also gave up 45. :-(

Things may turn around for the Giants LOL, so I'm not giving up hope after just one I've seen this a million times before game. I'm still NOT looking forward to another disappointing season of Giant's football.

    Wait...are you telling the Giants to kiss your ass? That's what I tell my Vikings just about every year right around the middle of the season when it looks bleak.

    Our footy season is coming to end here Down Under. My team lost an elimination final last weekend after leading with 90 seconds to go, but at least we made it that far.
