I do remember a lot during the 60s, I just di not do a lot.

For me I remember gas being 25 cents a gallon when I was cutting the lawn but not yet driving. I did love the bands back then, a lot of the shows, AM radio (if you can believe that), B&W TV, rotary telephone, cars that were under $5,000, neighbors that actually did things for others, math (not modern math ... give me a break), milk (I drank tons of milk), bazoka bubble gum, candy cigerates, penny candy, walking to school (5 miles, uphill both ways in 5 feet of snow lol). Yes the 60s and 70s were great.barmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00678534461620555428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12372919.post-1158176060391470162006-09-13T15:34:00.000-04:002006-09-13T15:34:00.000-04:00this was great, tony! thank you!this was great, tony! thank you!Libbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04873518747021842739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12372919.post-1158173008196648382006-09-13T14:43:00.000-04:002006-09-13T14:43:00.000-04:00I was only about well lets just say a kid but I do...I was only about well lets just say a kid but I do remember. In fact I could run up to the little grocery store and buy my mom her cigs. And they didnt ask questions. Course if I knew then that that was what was going to kill my mom I might not have done it. Penny candy, pack of gum for a nickle and gas at about 11 cents a gallon! Oh yeah what great memoriesGABhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08933789582534204216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12372919.post-1158171731289337662006-09-13T14:22:00.000-04:002006-09-13T14:22:00.000-04:00WOW....BTE that was the best blog ever!! As a child of the 60's I grew up remembering a lot of that stuff and I wouldn't trade those times or memories for ALL the money in the world today. The values I learned then are worth more than what the kids these days could ever learn. Thanks for the memories *sniff*jilliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15178696064979853189noreply@blogger.com
